Informatica and Sqware Peg Partner to Bring Joint Cloud Offering to Asia Pacific
Sydney, 25 May 2010 - Sqware Peg, a leading Cloud Computing consulting and solutions provider in the Asia-Pacific region, today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Informatica Corporation to resell Informatica Cloud in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The partnership will enable Sqware Peg to resell Informatica’s Cloud Services solutions across Asia Pacific. At the same time, the agreement will enable the Australian-headquartered SaaS-based integrator to build out an extensive cloud integration services practice and enhance its offering to a range of vertical markets, including telecommunications, high tech, automotive, education and business services.
Informatica Cloud Services are multi-tenant, secure, low-cost, easy to use, and require minimal IT resources to implement and manage. They are designed to integrate Salesforce CRM data with common web services as well as a variety of common on-premise systems and databases and require very little training to set up and administer.
Sqware Peg began as a CRM solutions provider in 2003 and has been working exclusively ever since with Salesforce.com. Additionally, Sqware Peg enables Cloud solutions for Eloqua, Google, Financial Force and others. It will now benefit from reselling the Informatica family of cloud data integration solutions specifically designed to help customers integrate their systems with the data residing in various databases and applications.
The Informatica Cloud maximises the benefits of having the right data in the right place at the right time as business needs, technology, data volumes, and data integration challenges grow and change.
Shawn Stilwell, Managing Director, Sqware Peg, said, “Our new relationship with Informatica is a great move forward for Sqware Peg in the Asia Pacific region and for our hundreds of customers. Consuming enterprise integration tools on an on-demand, subscription basis has only recently become available and this means the addressable market is now much wider.
“Informatica has traditionally built and integrated their technology in an on-premise format and has deployed successfully to many large and international enterprises. Traditionally this required very powerful onsite infrastructure and implementation. This isn’t required now as these same tools are now driven through the browser. This geography is ready for a quality-driven, subscription-based cloud technology player like Informatica with its unique approach and Sqware Peg looks forward to this compelling and exciting partnership.”
Sqware Peg estimates there are hundreds of companies in Australia and New Zealand alone who are hungry for cloud integration service and in need of a more powerful subscription model. For as little as $1,000 per month, organisations can have real time two way integration between any SaaS or On Premise platform, Salesforce, com and a host system all implemented within a matter of weeks. In fact Sqware Peg has already successfully deployed the technology in a few key accounts where multi-point host system integration was required for Salesforce.com.
“We were looking for a leading cloud systems integrator in Australia to take our business forward and realised that Sqware Peg uniquely understands the importance of integration to cloud computing success,” said Ron Papas, general manager, Informatica Cloud. “As data becomes more and more fragmented, Informatica Cloud Services empowers customers to access and integrate all their cloud data easily and cost-effectively. Working with Sqware Peg means customers will benefit from their successful track record, regional momentum and reputation for customer success.”
More than 650 salesforce.com customers run Informatica Cloud Services globally for bi-directional integration with other applications, platforms, databases and files – whether they reside in the cloud or on-premise. Informatica Cloud Services customers currently run over 30,000 integration jobs per day, moving and manipulating more than 6 billion rows of data per month.
Sqware Peg is a Platinum sponsor of the salesforce.com Cloudforce2 Australia events being staged in Melbourne on 27 May and in Sydney on 3 June. The company will be staging a competition for a prize which includes one way free integration to salesforce.com. The prize is sponsored by Informatica Cloud and Sqware Peg.
