20 Sep Sales, service, and marketing: Moving it all to the cloud
The Sydney Olympic Park is a staple to the city. A hub for sports, entertainment, and tourism, the park attracts over 14 million visitors every year, and Parth Gandhi, SOPA’s head of digital and IT, wanted to make sure the park’s operational functionality was in prime condition to handle that volume. To realize the most business value, he led the effort to move SOPA sales, service, marketing, and more all onto the cloud via Salesforce. But SOPA needed an expert partner to make sure it was done right.
Simplus worked with SOPA to get its entire Salesforce platform online and functioning. This included gathering 11 different databases with over 100,000 customer records, cleaning them up, and amalgamating them for the new platform. Ultimately, we paved the way for streamlined, transparent customer data that could grow with SOPA. Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud are all leveraged for data that is both cross-platform and available in real-time. As Parth says, “it’s seamless.”
